What should I bring?

The weekend is almost here, so gather up that fibery stuff! Here’s some things you may want to bring:
Don’t forget, register today! Registration price increases during the weekend. If you’ve already registered, bring the Event Brite ticket print out. If you’re a Common Cod Guild member, bring your membership card, as well.
Basic crafting tools: needles, hooks, scissors, tape measures, stitch markers and holders, plus a variety of fiber. Simplicity Creative donated a variety of knitting needles for FiberCamp, and our vendors have plenty of goodies for sale.
Computer, camera, microphone to help you share FiberCamp with the world. An extension cord may come in handy to recharge these goodies. Be sure to label all equipment so the things will stay matched up with their people.
A portable stool or chair may come in handy for the spontaneous demonstration, or settle down with a group.
Lunch is on your own… bring a pack lunch or go out with FiberCampers. There are two lunch spots immediately next to the Arsenal and loads of places nearby. Refill your water bottle at the Arsenal’s water fountains.
There is a coat room at the Arsenal, but at this point, it won’t have a custodian (volunteers?).
Bring your donations to “Something’s Fishy” to the Guild meeting on Friday night, or to FiberCamp on Saturday. Adrienne and Jodi installed the net already and it looks great. They will be hoisting fish into the net Saturday morning.
Most importantly, get ready for a great time! FiberCamp will use the “Law of two feet.” If a session isn’t what you expected and you’re ready to try something new, use your two feet and find it! Everyone understands that there’s lots going on, and the weekend is short.
