Something’s Fishy
December 15, 2009 Uncategorized
When you come to FiberCamp Boston, you will navigate the waters of an open source school of Common Coddahs and friends. Adrienne Sloane and Jodi Colella are calling for all hands on deck!
These Boston area fiber artists are spearheading a collaborative public fiber project that reinforces the social and educational concept of FiberCamp. They invite you to fabricate a fish of your own to add to the collective net installed under the outdoor canopy of the Arsenal Center for the Arts.
Guidelines
Create a fish at least 10 inches in length using any material and any fiber technique. (See links below for ideas and patterns.)
Bring your fish to the Common Cod guild meeting on Jan. 8 or to FiberCamp first thing Saturday morning.
Fish donations to benefit future Common Cod Activities.
